These Terms of Service govern the use of the FindYou.io service offering career aptitude testing.

Using the service constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Service.

§ 2. Definitions

  • Service – FindYou.io platform available at www.findyou.io
  • User – person using the service (minimum 12 years old)
  • Free test – basic version of the career aptitude test
  • Premium test – full version of the test for 245 PLN with detailed AI analysis
  • Account – user profile in the service after registration
  • Result – career aptitude analysis report

§ 3. Terms of service use

3.1 Age requirements:

  • Minimum 12 years old
  • Persons 12-17 years require verified parental/guardian consent through:
    • Confirmation email from parent/guardian, OR
    • Purchase made by parent/guardian with their payment card
  • Persons 18+ can use independently

3.2 Account registration:

Required data:

  • First name
  • Email address (unique in the system)
  • Date of birth
  • Gender (optional, affects career matching)
  • Password (minimum 8 characters)

3.3 Account responsibility:

  • User is responsible for login and password security
  • Prohibition on sharing access with third parties
  • Obligation to immediately report unauthorized access

§ 4. Service description

4.1 Free test

  • Duration: approx. 25 minutes
  • Number of questions: approx. 50-80 (flexibly adapted)
  • Result: basic career aptitude analysis
  • Access: after account registration

4.2 Premium test (245 PLN)

Everything from the free version plus:

  • Detailed analysis by artificial intelligence
  • Personalized career recommendations
  • Analysis considering age and gender
  • Downloadable report in PDF format
  • Comparison with other users
  • Additional development materials

4.3 AI algorithm

The test uses advanced artificial intelligence algorithms that analyze responses considering:

  • User age (influences suggested career paths)
  • Gender (adaptation to career specifics)
  • Response patterns (aptitude analysis)

§ 5. Payments

5.1 Payment methods:

  • Stripe – payment cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • Online transfers
  • BLIK
  • Google Pay, Apple Pay

5.2 Payment terms:

  • Price: 245 PLN (includes VAT)
  • Type: one-time payment
  • No automatic renewals
  • Immediate access after payment confirmation

5.3 Refunds:

  • Free test: no refunds (free service)
  • Premium test – incomplete: 14 days from purchase for refund
  • Premium test – completed: no refund (service has been delivered)
  • Process: refund to account within 14 business days

§ 6. Taking the test

6.1 Test-taking rules:

  • Test must be completed independently and honestly
  • Truthful answers increase result accuracy
  • Ability to pause and continue the test
  • No time limit for completion

6.2 Results:

  • Availability: immediately after completion
  • Format: online report + PDF (Premium)
  • Storage: 5 years from last login
  • Nature: informational, does not replace professional counseling

§ 7. Intellectual property

7.1 Copyright:

All service elements are protected by copyright:

  • Test questions and algorithms
  • Analysis methodology
  • User interface
  • Reports and results

7.2 Prohibitions:

  • Copying test questions or publishing them
  • Reverse engineering AI algorithms
  • Commercial use without license
  • Automated test completion (bots, scripts)
  • Publishing results without consent
  • Attempting to breach service security

§ 8. Prohibitions and restrictions

User may not:

  • Share account access with third parties
  • Use automated tools (bots, scripts)
  • Disrupt service operations
  • Provide false personal data
  • Violate other users’ rights
  • Publish unlawful content

§ 9. Liability

9.1 Service owner:

  • Provides: service operation as intended
  • Does not guarantee: 100% service availability (maintenance work)
  • Not liable for: decisions made based on results
  • Results are informational and do not replace professional counseling

9.2 User:

  • Uses the service at their own risk
  • Responsible for truthfulness of provided data
  • Bears responsibility for Terms of Service violations

§ 10. Account deletion

10.1 By user:

  • Method: user panel or email support@findyou.io
  • Effect: data deletion according to Privacy Policy
  • Exception: legally required data (invoices) stored for 7 years

10.2 By owner:

  • Reasons: Terms violation, inactivity 2+ years
  • Process: 14-day warning before deletion (except for serious violations)

§ 11. Force majeure

The owner is not liable for service interruptions caused by:

  • Internet infrastructure failures
  • Hacker attacks
  • Government agency actions
  • Other events beyond control

§ 12. Dispute resolution

12.1 Mediation (first 30 days):

In case of dispute, parties undertake a 30-day attempt at amicable resolution before other legal steps.

12.2 Arbitration:

After unsuccessful mediation, we apply arbitration in London, United Kingdom:

  • Disputes up to £5,000: online arbitration (faster, cheaper)
  • Disputes over £5,000: traditional arbitration
  • Organizer: London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA)
  • Language: English (or user’s language on request)
  • Costs: each party bears their own costs

12.3 Exceptions to arbitration:

  • Intellectual property violations (AI algorithms, test questions)
  • Urgent matters requiring protection
  • GDPR disputes (can always go to competent supervisory authority)

12.4 Applicable law:

  • Primary: English and Welsh law
  • EU users: additional rights from local GDPR implementations
  • Other countries: local consumer laws where applicable

§ 13. Final provisions

13.1 Changes to Terms of Service:

  • Notification of changes by email 14 days in advance
  • Continued use means acceptance of changes
  • Right to withdraw in case of significant changes
